THE ANTI-CHRIST “666” AND CHARACTERISTICS OF HIS POWER - scripture says:

 " He shall SPEAK WORDS AGAINST THE MOST HIGH, and shall WEAR OUT THE SAINTS OF THE MOST HIGH, and shall think to CHANGE  the TIMES and the  LAWS; and they (SAINTS) shall be GIVEN INTO HIS HANDS ...(Daniel 7: 25-28). 

👉We can trace three important points from this extract:

1) “Speak words against the Most High God’’ which implies blaspheming. 

2) “Oppress God’s people” indicating that this power will go out for persecutions. 

3) “Think to change the Times and Laws’’ meaning that this power will undermine God, to change His word. It’s therefore very important for us to discover in the first place who this ‘‘HE’’ is referring to in this extract. In the Bible, the prophetic predications of ‘‘HE’’ is revealed in many names: 

👉 As ‘‘THE ANTI-CHRIST’’(1st John 4: 3). 

👉 As “ • • • A MAN OF SINS’’ and ‘‘THE SON OF PERDITION’’( 2nd T hessalonians 2: 3)

 👉 As ‘‘THE WICKED ONE’ (2nd Thessalonians 2: 7 ). 

👉 As “ THE MAN OF LAWLESSNESS Who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called God or object of worship” ( 2nd Thessalonians 2: 3-4 ). 

👉 As ‘‘ GREAT BABYLON, the mother of all prostitutes and perverts in the world ’’  ‘‘And I saw that the woman was drunk with blood of those who were killed because they had been loyal to Jesus’ (Revelation 17: 5 .5). 

In a vision in 1999, the Lord showed me a woman with all the various occult signs you can think of in this world. Curiously, she equally had the Roman Catholic rosaries and Moslem rostrum all drawn on her body. She was so frightful to look at. This woman is the representation of the beast with its various diversified and disguised working blasphemous instruments(systems). In this context the bible says:

 ‘‘ ….I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of blasphemous names..’’ Revelation 17:3. 

SOME CHARACTERISTICS OF POWER ATTRIBUTED TO THIS USURPER ‘‘HE’’

a) He is like a man: “With eyes like eyes of a man”( Daniel: 7:8). ‘‘A mouth full of arrogance’’.

b) Opposing to the truth: “And truth was cast down to the ground”(Daniel 8: 12).“For the day will not come until the final rebellion takes place and the wicked one appears, who is destined for hell” ( 2nd Thessalonians 2: 3). 

c) Opposing God and Jesus Christ: 

👉“He shall speak words against the Most High God” (Daniel 17: 25). 

👉“Exalts himself against every so-called God or object of worship. So that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God”( 2nd Thessalonians 2: 3-4). 

👉“The beast was allowed to make proud claims, which were insulting to God, and it was permitted to have authority for forty-two months. It began to curse God, His name the place where He lives, and all those who live in heaven”(Revelation 13: 5-6). 

👉“It even defied the commander (Christ) of the heavenly army” (Daniel 8: 11). 

👉“Because he is cunning, he will succeed in his deceitful ways. He will be proud of himself and destroy many people without warning.  He will even defy the greatest king of all (Jesus Christ), but he will be destroyed without the use of any human power”(Daniel 8: 25) 

d) Opposing the mediating works of Jesus Christ. “He stopped the daily sacrifices offered, to God” (Daniel 8: 11-12). 

“He desecrated the temple” (Daniel 8: 11). “He takes his seat in the temple of God proclaiming himself to be God “(2nd Thessa. 2: 4) 

e) Opposing the laws of God: “He shall think to change the times and the Laws” ( Daniel 7: 25).

 f) A great persecuting power:

👉 “He will make war against God’s people and conquer them (Daniel 7:21, 25).

👉“It was allowed to fi ght against God’s people and to defeat them, and it was given authority over every tribe, nation, languages, and race. All people living on earth will worship it, except those whose names were written before the creation of the world in the book of the living which belongs to the lamb that was killed Jesus Christ ( Revelation .13: 7).

 👉“Then the dragon was angry with the woman, and went off to make war on the rest of her off spring, on those who keep the commandments of God and bear testimony to Jesus (Revelation 12:17). 

For all those who are ignorant of whom the dragon (Satan) really was before sinning, read Ezekiel 28: 15-1. 

It is written: We know that we belong to God, even though the whole world is under the Rule of the evil one(1st John 5: 19). 

IS THE ANTI-CHRIST  ALREADY IN THE WORLD? 

" And another angel a third angel followed them, saying in a loud voice, ‘‘If any one worships the beast and its image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also shall drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured unmixed into the cup of his anger, and he shall be tormented with fi re and sulphur in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up for ever and ever; and they have no rest, day and night, those worshippers of the beast and its image, who receives the mark of its name’’ Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus (Revelation 14: 9-12).

 Let us note the specification of: 

• Call for the endurance of the saints 

• Keep the commandments of God, and

 • The faith of Jesus. 

👉If the so called grace in Jesus Christ that we so misinterpret today was all and all, there would have been no need of mentioning, “Keep the commandments of God, and faith of Jesus.”  It would have just been “ faith in Jesus.”

 👉The Bible says: He who keeps the commandments keeps his life, he who despises the word will die (Proverb 19:16). Therefore, whoever is led by the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ to keep the commandments of God will live eternally; while who ever does not will die eternally. 

“WORSHIPS THE BEAST AND ITS IMAGE, AND RECEIVES A MARK ” 

From the text above, worshipping the beast and its image and receiving his mark “666” in another great sense of the scripture, is obeying the devil consciously or unconsciously as it is written: 

👉“Little children, let no one deceives you. He who does right is righteous as Christ is righteous. He who commits sins is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning”( 1st John 3:7-8).

👉 “This is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you heard that it was coming, and now it is in the world already. Little children, you are of God, and have overcome them; for He who is in you are greater than he who is in the world”(1st John 4: 3-6, 1st John 18-19). 

👉“For many deceivers have gone out into the world, men who will not acknowledge the coming of Jesus Christ in the fl esh: Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist’ (2nd John 18). 

✍️Therefore, Satan is the dragon, the wicked one, the antichrist, whose agents are equally called antichrist, the beast, wicked one, false prophet, Babylon, woman prostitute et cetera, all appellations referring to Satan and his agents . 

👉All Satan’s agents therefore, equally represent him. Thus, any individual or system etcetera, at the service of Satan and anyone loyal to him equally bears his name, and consequently carries his mark or seal of ownership “666’’. 

👉This implies therefore that, any person (man, woman, child) who sins is of the devil and automatically bears his stamp of ownership “666,” just as the Holy spirit and obedience is God’s stamp of ownership on all who do not sin. Sin is disobeying the commandments of God and rejecting faith in the Lord Jesus as it is written: 

"Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus"

👉 Sin therefore is not the matter of receiving a visible physical mark “666” labelled on ones forehead and hand but conscious and unconscious disobedience to God, which the devil will reinforced towards the end before rapture. 

👉Are you disobeying the commandments of God and rejecting faith in the Lord Jesus Christ? Then you are Sinning against God and obeying Satan. You are receiving his mark “666,” and may at any moment die in disobedience as others are dying. 

👉The consequence will be eternal separation from God in the lake of fi re. If the 3 ½ years period and the 2300yrs period have already come to pass as we are going to see, then it will be spiritual blindness to still be saying that, the antichrist to rise and claim God’s place, is still to come.

 This will be going against the scripture which clearly declares that the antichrist is already in the world:1st John 4:3-4,2nd John 7. Paul wrote his letter: 

👉"For that day will not come unless the rebellion comes first and the man of Lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalt himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God( 2nd Thessalonians. 2:3-3), around 50 AD. 

👉That is when the devil through the Roman Empire under the influence of Judaism was persecuting the saints. By then, the Roman Catholic Papacy-the little horn that is the lawless one to rise and claim the seat of God on earth and continue the persecution of saints, was not yet on the scene(Daniel 8:10-14, Daniel 7:21-28, Revelation 17:1-18, 1st John 4: 3-6,). 

👉While John wrote his letter: "This is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you heard that it was coming, and now it is in the world already ( 1st John 4: 3-6), around 95AD. 

👉That is when the Roman Empire since Emperor Nero around 64 AD, was acting vigorously under the power of Satan in the persecution of Christians; and later to give birth to the Roman Catholic Papacy the little horn (313) through the Roman Emperor Constantine, which was to claim the seat of God on earth. She is, ‘‘ Great Babylon, the mother of all prostitutes and perverts in the world’’ Revelations 17:5. 

She is thus the major tree of anti-christ, producing many branches of antichrists: Many antichrists have come; therefore we know that it is the last hour.(1st John 2:18).

👉 Notice that “ last hour”, here is meaning that it was the time spoken of. Our dear brethren, let us get into second by second sanctification in the obedience of God’s commandments through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, rather than listening to the devil’s lies and waiting for a day when Satan will appear as a huge beast and start writing physical labels of “666’’ on people’s heads and hands as a sign of sin. 

👉We know that in the world of today, some objects in the market like: shoes, clothes, kitchen utensils, et cetera, carry this sign” 666” in one form or the other; and even some agents of Satan write it on their bodies and wears.  But this must not distract any true child of God whose priority should be sanctification in the obedience of God’s commandments through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. 

👉The truth is that, in the last days before rapture, the economic and financial situations in addition to Ecumenism rapidly gaining grounds, things will be very difficult such that, those who will want to live a pure godly life, will find it very difficult keeping the commandments of God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. 

👉If they do not pay a price of sacrifice even to the least drop of their blood, they will give up and consciously engaged in practicing sins, joining satanic sects etc (this situation also is called tribulation). No one can denial the fact that, we are not already experiencing difficult economic and financial difficulties which is more and more intensifying and obliging people into conscious sinning and satanic sects entanglements. 

✍️Therefore, as a result of this economic, financial, religious and political difficulties provoked by Satan and his agents, many believers will be forced to compromise godliness to ungodliness just for survival. Thereby consciously obeying Satan and receiving his mark of ownership “666.”

 This briefly explains Revelations 13:14-17 the says: “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads. And that no man might buy or sell, save he hard the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of his name..”.

 This text is linked to that of 2nd Timothy 3:1-5, which clearly outlines the characteristics of the last days saying: 

👉'But understand this, that in the last days there will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, inhuman, implacable, slanders, profligates, fierce, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding the form of religion but denying the power of it. "

👆This depicts an environment of free religious worship, different from the 3½ year’s period of Roman Catholic domination as the only authorized religious sect, and it’s persecution of the real followers of Christ. 

👉Thus, during this End Time period it is every body and not only believers in Christ who will be exposed or influenced(justifying the use of the word “causeth” meaning causes), into conscious sinning and satanic sects entanglements as government authorities legalises sins, and endorses it upon the people. 

✍️Therefore, only true and sincere saints of God who the Bible says: “ Keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus” will win the victory and be raptured at the end. For it is written: “Then the dragon was angry with the woman, and went off to make war on the rest of her off spring, on those who keep the commandments of God and bear testimony to Jesus” (Revelation12: 17). From the two texts, above we emphasize two very important points namely: 

1) The call for the keeping of God’ s commandments, and 

2) Th e faith in Jesus.
