Is divorce and remarriage of two believers still in Christ possible? NO !!!!
This natural tree image above tries in one way or the other, to show us how God intended marriage to be: “The two shall become one... What therefore God has joined together, Let not man put asunder......He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts. And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery." (Mathew 19: 2 -12). Only death can do them apart.
To separate these two trees yoked together, will mean to destroy the two, because there is no way you will have to safely cut one and remove without hurting the other, and that is how the divorce of two persons yoked in marriage is.
When you look at these two trees, you will understand that they are not death but living trees and that is why they are firmly yoked in each other.
But if one of them naturally dies from the roots, up to the stem, and branches, it will automatically dry off, broke and be separated from the other and therefore setting it free.
Why did God put the hymen in the female’s genital organ?
We know that every life alliance is sealed with blood. During the first contact of married virgins, THE BLOOD THAT FLOWS FROM THE TEARING OF THE WOMAN’S HYMEN, SEALS THEIR MARRIAGE COVENANT FOR LIFE, until death separates them.
Some may be right to say it is not in all cases that blood flows; but it is not a river of blood that must flow! In the Bible, we all know that the divine principle of life alliance is blood. In the Old Testament, the blood of animals engaged our life alliance with God, whereas in the New Testament, the animal’s blood is replaced by the blood of Jesus Christ.
According to the thoughts of God, the husband is the one who is supposed to go into the wife, reuniting the rib that was taken out from him, back into its original place for the two to become one. So, they return spiritually to be one irrespective of the fact that they may be two different morphological human beings. It is in this state that, they can enjoy sex, multiply and fill the earth as God commanded.
The Bible says, “That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united with his wife, and the two become one, and no one should separate (Genesis 2:24). The two becoming one is deeply spiritual, meaning that they would eventually be realized into one in thoughts, words and actions, and moving in the same direction.
Therefore becoming one here, doesn’t just simply imply two different physical human beings (female and male), staying under the same roof and looking in different directions and producing children. It rejoices God’s heart when we obey his marriage norms. There is nothing that God created in man that hasn’t got a role to play before Him.
It is very unfortunate that many of us lose our virginity in sexual immorality and seal ourselves in sin with others. But fortunately for us, we are pitied through the blood of Christ and as we wholeheartedly turn to God in repentance, this sealing is nullified as we become new born in Christ.
Therefore, to suite in God’s original thoughts, rather than going for illicit sex because we think we shall later repent and be forgiven Let it be unbelievers to think as such, and not believers for a believer to think as such, is trying God and will have it hot.
For those who are still virgins, keep your virginity until marriage: men and women inclusive. Let us keep our HYMEN intact until marriage. Though many of us failed in this domain, we must take it now as our utmost responsibility to teach our children growing into maturity all these things.
It shouldn’t just be us telling them that “the Bible says sex before marriage is a sin,” but rather take time to sit down with them, and carefully explain these things in details. When they are well informed with this knowledge, they become well armed to keep their virginity until marriage : Must read this Book
From the text below the blood that flows from the tearing of the woman’s HYMEN to seal the marriage alliance until death, equally proves her virginity status:
“Suppose a man marries a girl and later he decides he doesn’t want her. So he makes up false charges against her, accusing her of not being a virgin when they got married. If this happens, the girl’s parents are to take the blood-stained wedding sheet that proves the girl was a virgin, and they are to show it in court to the town leaders.
The girl’s father will say to them, I gave my daughter to this man in marriage, and now he doesn’t want her. He has made false charges against her, saying that she was not a virgin when he married her. But here is the proof that my daughter was a virgin; look at the bloodstains on the wedding sheet! Then the town leaders are to take the husband and beat him.
They are also to fine him a hundred piece of silver and give the money to the girl’s father, because the man has brought disgrace on an Israelite girl. Moreover she will continue to be his wife, and he can never divorce her as long as he lives.
But if the charges is true and there is no proof that the girl was a virgin, then they are to take her out to the entrance of her father’s house, where the men of her city are to stone her to death. She has done a shameful thing among our people by having intercourse before she was married, while she was still living in her father’s house. In this way you will get rid of this evil” (Deuteronomy 22:13 21).Good News!
Today, stoning to death as was in the Old Testament no longer exists, but we are spiritually dead unless we repent, and physical death can then follow in any manner (accidents, diseases etc.). Therefore, sex outside marriage is a terrible abomination before God, because it is something that deals with a life alliance.
WHAT IS DIVINE MARRAIGE ?
" Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, NONE SHALL WANT HER MATE: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them" Isaiah 35:16
DIVINE MARRIAGE is God bringing two people together. Has nothing to do with sex or contract. Sex is just a part of the marriage process. God appointed Rebecca and choose her to be the wife of Isaac.
It was God ordained. Holy matrimony. Joseph thought to put Mary away privately but the angel of the Lord said don't be afraid to take Mary as thy wife. They did not have sexual relations until after the birth of Jesus. Sex is just part of the process.
Just like a man is to leave mother and father and cleave to his wife. What = marriage is when God has called two people together for marriage and they unite and submit to the will of God. But different types of marriages take place that's not in alignment with God's will or outside his will including king Solomon and his wives.
Holy matrimony isn't created from sex or a contract. It's created by God who brought two people together for marriage. A marriage that is God ordained. That's a true marriage according to the bible. Not the sex.
SEX IS AN END PRODUCT OF MARRIAGE, AND NOT MARRIAGE AN END PRODUCT OF SEX! Take note:
👉 According to the LAW of God in divine marriage, only people who get married first, both spiritually- mean God bringing TWO spirits beings in the spiritual realm for his purpose, then physically before parents and others knowing you are meant for one another, are qualified to have right for sex. So SEX is an end product of MARRIAGE.
👉That is God unit(marries) the two spirit beings first which are neither female nor male for his divine purpose, then sex comes second on the outer plane which is the flesh between the MALE envelope and the FEMALE envelope which are their physical bodies in the physical realm, intended purposely for multiplication of subsequent bodies for God to put the spirit which is in his image and likeness inside -neither male nor female( Zacharias 12:1-2). God put the spirit of Man within him.
👉 Therefore fornication, is a SIN committed by Two people having sex, that have not yet being married to one another.
👉 SO IS THE DEVIL THAT UNIT OR MARRIES TWO FLESH TOGETHER, THROUGH SEXUAL IMMORALITY transferring curses, and this flesh joining into ONE, can be broken, if we repent turning to the Lord. So flesh marriage in sex is the devil's counterfeit marriage and we know the scripture says: The FLESH profited nothing.
👉 But the divine marriage which is UNION of the two Spirits, is for life and cannot be broken, unless one of the envelope either the female of male dies, or chose to live in adultery as the scripture says: “Anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Mathew 5: 27 -28). But We may fall into adultery and repent and ask for forgiveness and be forgiven, for the bible says:
“Lord, if my brother keeps on sinning against me, how many times do I have to forgive him? Seven times?” ‘‘No not seven times,’’ answered Jesus, ‘‘but seven times seventy because the kingdom of heaven is like this’’ (Mathew 18: 21 - 23).
So we can't just hurry to divorce our husband or wife on basis of adultery if that one sincerely repent and abandon the sin, ask forgiveness from us, and willing to stay in the Lord with us. If you forced to, then you go against the Law of forgiveness, and you may equally be trapped because bible equally says: “Anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Mathew 5: 27 -28).
So you will be asked the question: If you have never looked at a woman or a man lustfully and have forgiven 490 times? But if the other chose to remain in it, he or she is spiritually death, and so the Lord permit divorce BECAUSE HE CAN'T YOKE HIS CHILD THAT IS SPIRITUALLY ALIVE, TO A DEATH SPIRIT OF THE ONE THAT HAS CHOSEN TO LIVE IN ADULTERY.:
“…whereas she who is self-indulgent is DEAD EVEN WHILE SHE LIVES’’ (1 Timothy 5:6-7).
So in divine marriage ordained by God, you can't just easily decide to divorce your wife or husband like that. But If you chose to, the Bible says plainly:
" A woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, but he must belong to the Lord. In my judgment, she is happier if she stays as she is—and I think that I too have the Spirit of God" 1 Corinth 7:3-40,
lf we start from the last text that says " she is free to marry anyone she wishes, but he must belong to the Lord" It will be very, very clear for us to understand that, this epistle of Paul was written to BELIEVERS in Christ, and not UNBELIEVERS.
Let's connect this verse back to verse 10 referring to believers to match it up : " For the married people l have a command which is not my own but the Lord's. A wife must not leave her husband; but if she does, she must remain single or else be reconciled to her husband; and a husband must not divorce his wife" 1 Corinth 7:10
Therefore, so long as we are children of God and our partner is still alive, even if we are not living together, whether in a state of madness, sickness, imprisonment, poverty , divorced; and still a member of the body of Christ(spiritually alive) as our self, not on the bench of sin unto death, we have no right to remarry.
Being all spiritually alive in the body of Christ, only physical death can separate us. Paul was writing his letter to children of God spiritually alive in Christ, and yoked together by marriage in the Lord. That is why he goes further to say” ...but if her husband dies, she is free to be married to any man she wishes, but only if he is a Christian” 1st Corinthians 7:39.
Yes, two believers in Christ cannot divorce and remarry . This is because the bible says: “.... You are a husband of blood to me » (Exodus 4: 24 - 26). How can a husband of blood to a wife or vice versa be separated? All these boil down to this solemn will of God:
-« You ask why he no longer accepts them. It is because he knows you have broken your promise to the wife you married when you were young. She was your partner and you have broken your promise to her, although you promised before God that you would be faithful to her. Didn’t God make you one body and spirit with her?
What was his purpose in this? It was that you should have children who are truly God’s people. So make sure that none of you break his promise to his wife. ‘‘I hate divorce’’ says the Lord God of Israel ‘‘I hate it when one of you does such a cruel thing to his wife’’. Make sure that you do not break your promise to be faithful to your wife » Malachi 2: 15-16.
