The 3 1/2yrs Period of Tribulations :Dan 7:25-Rev 11:11, and The Two witnesses- Rev 11:2-5

👆 Our exact scriptural and historical situation of the 3 1/2 years of tribulations, will be guided by a careful study of this graph of Danial 8:14, which is very, very fundamental in Bible prophecies with regards Christ second coming and the end of this present world.  

👉Is true that this is just an extract from the book: Imminent End of the world in this 3rd Millennium, which any serious bible student or Teacher is advised to read, just carefully spend some quality time on the understanding of this graph which in it's own. is could reflect a brief summary of  huge scriptures. 

SATAN CHANGED THE TIMES AND LAWS OF GOD, AND THE SAINTS GIVEN INTO HIS HANDS FOR A TIME, TWO TIMES AND HALF A TIME ( 31/2YEARS ..)

The Bible says: 

"The wicked one(SATAN) shall speak words against the most High God, and Shall WEAR OUT THE SAINTS of the Most High, and shall think to CHANGE  THE TIMES AND LAWS; and THE SAINTS SHALL BE GIVEN INTO HIS HANDS  for A TIME , TWO TIMES and  HALF A TIME(3 1/2yrs) . But the heavenly court shall sit in judgement, and his dominion shall be taken away to be consumed and destroyed to the end. And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High God; their kingdom shall be an everlasting, and all the dominion shall serve and obey them; ‘‘Here is the end of the matter” (Daniel 7: 25-28). 

👉There are three very important things, which are very clear from this Text, and follow a sequence: 

Firstly:  “The wicked one shall speak words against the most High God, and Shall wear out the saints of the most High, and shall think to change the times and the laws; and the saints shall be given into his hands for a time, two times and a half a time(3 1/2yrs)(Daniel Verse 25).

 Secondly:  “But the heavenly court shall sit in judgement and his dominion shall be taken away and consumed and destroyed to the end”( Daniel verse. 26). 

Thirdly:  “And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High God; their kingdom shall be an everlasting..”( 7 vs 27)

👉Let us analyze point two: 

i) “But the heavenly court shall sit in judgement, and his dominion shall be taken away” 

ii) “To be consumed and destroyed to the end” . 

👉The first is an immediate act that takes place (dominion taken away), and the Second comes as a continuation of the fi rst process (to be consumed and destroyed to the end). 

The First part:

 “ But the heavenly court shall sit in judgement, and his dominion shall be taken away”, dwells essentially on the end of the 3 ½ years in the 2300 years. References of the 3½-year’s period include: 

1) “3 ½ years of Daniel 12:7, which directly defines the period of the great tribulation in verses 1-2 (…and there shall be a time of trouble such as never shall be since). 

👉The problem with many here is the understanding of time. From this text, we are forced to believe that immediately after the great tribulation talked of in this text, Christ was going to come. This, not knowing that a long unknown estimated period was still to pass.

👉 Our Lord Jesus talked of this period or duration of 3 ½ years when he said, “So when you see the desolating sacrilege spoken of by Prophet Daniel…. And if those days had not been shortened”(Matthew 24: 15–22).

2)  3 ½ years of Rev. 12: 14-15. 

3)  3 ½ days of Rev. 11: 11. 

4)  1260 days of Rev. 12:6 and 11: 2.

5)  42 months of Rev. 13: 5 and 11:3. 

                                                  THE TWO WITNESSES

👉Let us say something about the TWO WITNESSES  during this period of great persecution:

 “And I will grant my two witnesses power to prophesy for 1260 days …. These are the two olive trees and two lamp stands which stand before the Lord of the earth. (Revelation 11: 2-5).

👉 Zechariah 4:11-14 further explains these TWO WITNESSES in conformity as:

 “Then I said to him, what are these TWO OLIVE TREES ON THE RIGHT AND THE LEFTOF THE LAMP STAND ? And a second time I said to Him, “ what are these two branches of the olive trees, which are beside the two golden pipes from which the oil poured out?” He said to me “Do you not know what these are? I said “No, my Lord”.    Then He said, “these are the TWO ANOINTED WHO STAND BY THE LORD OF THE WHOLE EARTH ” 

👆The representatives of the Lord on earth (two olive trees) we belief are the Old and New Testaments which is the word of God taught by the Holy Spirit (lamp stand and the olive trees standing on it’s right and left, and feeding on oil from the pipes). 

👉 Else, can you better tell us who these two olive trees, standing on the right and left of the lamp stand as representatives of God on earth are? The Bible says plainly:  "And the word became flesh and dwelled among us, full of grace and truth ( John 1:14).

👉If the Lord Jesus Christ is the word and He became flesh, then the OLD TESTAMENT and NEW TESTAMENT that constitute the written word can be called: 👇

" Two anointed ones, the two Prophets, or the two witnesses" 

👉If we say the Bible is prophetic, can it not therefore be called a Prophet? 

👉If we say the Bible witnesses, can it not therefore be called a witness? We all know that it is the word of God under the power of the Holy Spirit, that witnesses and prophesy; and carry out miracles and wonders.

👉Men are therefore just human instruments in the hands of the word of God under the power of the Holy Spirit. 

✍️ Therefore, it was the word of God that was seriously persecuted and burnt (killed), during the 3 ½ years of Papal domination in the powers of Satan. For, take away the word from the human instruments that were persecuted and burnt, they would not have been persecuted and burnt. This persecution of the word of God by Satan still continuous today through multiple distortions, and will go on till the end. 

👉The above periods therefore, in accordance with the prophetic counting of Ezekiel 4:6 stipulating 1 Day = 1 Year, representing one and the same thing: 3 ½ years=3 ½ days=42 months=1260 days= 1260 years. 

👉As earlier mentioned, the events of the 3 ½ years period of Daniel and Revelation respectively are linked to the Empires, which have already come to pass as we are going to see ahead. 

👉As earlier said, Prophet Daniel received his message around 587 years before the birth of Christ, during the reign of Nebuchadnezzer of the Babylonian Empire. While apostle John received that of revelation around 95 years after Christ. Therefore, much has already been accomplished. 

👉Thus, this is the period during which the Roman papacy (in the powers of the dragon) maintained its civil and religious authority over the church and cruelly persecuted it. This period was in its maximum from 538 till 1798 when the French captured the Pope and brought to an end his civil powers of persecution (killing, torture et cetera). After this dominion by the Roman Catholic Papacy ended at the end of this period 1260 years (31/2 years), rapture did not immediately take place, as you see carefully illustrated on the graph above. 

👉This was because, God allowed some time for the rest of His Saints to get into perfection of His Times and Laws changed by the wicked one. The period from around 1798 till today, falls within this unknown estimated time allowed by the Lord for the restoration of His saints in His changed Times and Laws, before the rapture. 

👉However, it is very clear that we are running out of this unknown estimated period, and the appointed time for the rapture is in the horizon. 

👉Daniel 8:13-19, makes us understand that the 2300 years Prophetic counting (Ezekiel 4:4-6) allocated by the Lord have come to pass. And the end of it in 1844 did not mean that the world was to come to an end as some people thought. That is counting from 457 BC under Artaxerxes with the rebuilding of Jerusalem as predicted by Daniel 9:25−26, to 1844 gives 2300years as illustrated on the graph above. 

👉We must note that the 62 weeks of Daniel 9: 25, the 1290 days of Daniel 12,11, the 1335 days of Daniel 12:12, the 3 ½ days, 3 ½ years, 42 months, 1260 days of Daniel and revelation respectively, are all included in the 2300 years of Daniel, as you can see on the graph above.

👉We are therefore today in the extended time of grace because of God’s patience, as He sees the Church still not ready for the rapture. Seeing therefore that, the 2300years allocated by God have already come to pass, one should be more and more watchful as the Lord warns: Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor hour (Matthew 25:13). 

👉We should also be more prudent given the Biblical significance of the letter 3(Divinity, Body –Soul Spirit), as we are in the 3rd millennium after Christ death and resurrection. Are we not all aware of the fact that we are in the last days or End Times? Our Lord Jesus said: "Destroy this Temple, and in three days, I will raise it up”. 

👆But he spoke of the Temple of his body. When therefore he was raised from dead, his disciples remembered that he said this (Matthew 24: 44). 

👉Jesus Christ was talking of His body as the temple to be destroyed by death on the cross, and rose to life in three days. But can we not also in a way see this as Christ construction of his body(temple), which is the New Testament Church now on earth (meaning the believer’s Body-Soul-Spirit 1st Thesso.5: 23) into perfection in the 3rd millennium to be raptured?

👉Thinking this way may also spur us to be more prepare, as the Lord said: Therefore, you also must be ready; for the son of man is coming at an hour you do not expect (Matthew 24: 44). 

✍️ Therefore, from God’s words, the first part as we have seen, did not mean that the present world was to end at that time, as the second part further elaborates.  

The Second part:

👉 “ To be consumed and destroyed to the end”, confirming that the world was to continue with the devil still in a partial domination of the Saints on changed Times and Laws, but this dominion will gradually be destroyed to the end. This confirms the fact that only the civil powers of the Roman Catholic papacy (The small horn) were taken away following the French defeat while she will continue in her Religious powers till the end as the Bible says:

👉 “His power shall be great, and he shall cause fearful destruction, and shall succeed in what he does, and destroy mighty men and the people of the saints. By his cunning he shall make deceit prosper under his hand, and in his own mind he shall magnify himself. Without warning he shall destroy many; and he shall even rise up against the prince of princes; but, by no human hand, he shall be broken(Daniel 8:24-25).  And in the continuation of her religious powers, many are under his dominion as it is written:

 👉“The waters that you saw, where the harlot is seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues (Revelation 17: 15).

 👉 “Then I saw another beast, which rose out of the earth; it had two horns like the lamb and it spoke like a dragon. It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence, and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, …. It deceives those who dwell on earth,….. Also it cause all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked ;on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let him who has understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number, its name is six hundred and sixty-six(666)” Revelation 13:11-18. 

👉This continuation of the wicked one’s partial domination (religious and civil), will still go on, under the umbrella of the Roman papal system (the first beast), backed by the US system (the second beast from the earth-Revelation 13: 9-18, Revelation 16:12-16, Revelation 19:19-21) till the end with the rapture. 

👉We must note that the Roman Empire and it’s Roman Catholic Papacy, known as the fourth beast from the Mediterranean to whom the dragon (Satan) gave his power, his throne, and his vast authority (Rev. 13:1-2), is a system governed by a demonic prince (with his legions). 

👉It is this prince governing this system that is called the beast. Satan sustains this system directly, and indirectly( the coming of the lawless one by the activity of Satan (2nd Th essalonians 2:9) using human beings on earth. So long as this prince (beast) is there, the system continues. 

👉For better understanding of what we are trying to say, let us read the following text: "But now I will return to fight against the prince of Persia; and when I am through with him, lo, the prince of Greece will come ( Daniel 10:20). This implies that all the systems of governance on earth have a demonic prince behind them. 

👉The kingdom of Babylon, Media–Persia, Greece and the Roman, all had each a demonic prince behind the scene. Therefore, the beast is not a particular: Human being, Emperor of old, pope, or head of state, which are just human beings at the service of this system controlled by the beast from the invisible. 

👉This demonic prince had full dominion, given him by the most High over His saints, to persecute and killed for 3 ½ years, 42 months, 1260 yrs., that is, from 538-1789 as earlier mentioned. When a Father speaks and repeatedly warns His child on something, What must that child do?

👉 Yes, God had spoken and said: 

“The wicked one shall speak words against the Most High God, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and shall think to change the Times and Laws; And they shall be given into his hands” (Daniel 7: 25- 28). 

👆Yes, He said this through Daniel and repeated the warning through His son Jesus Christ saying: "So when you see the desolating sacrilege spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the Holy place (let the ready understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountain; let him who is on the house top not go down to take what is in his house(Matthew 24:15).

The questions the Lord is asking all His Saints including you and me are: 

1) Which are those my Times and Laws, I said in Daniel 7:25 that Satan will change, and you will obey him? 

2) When I said “ So When you see the desolating sacrilege spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand) then let those who are in Judea flee (Matthew 24:14)! What was prophet Daniel saying? 

👉I suggest that we biblically and clearly try to answer these questions, turning to God and asking Him, and waiting. All servants of the Lord are obliged to take note of whatever thing He says, find out and conform to it. 

👉An intelligent child of God will ask the question: Which are these Times and Laws of my Father, that He is warning me that Satan will change and I will obey him? And since it is only something that exists that can be changed! He will then seek from the word and collaborate with the father in order to know them.

👉 After knowing them, he compares them with what exists, to see if any has changed. If yes, then he takes note, because his father has already warned him. And knowing that the wicked one is an enemy to his father, and if his father had warned him before time, it means this is very important to him. 

👉He now rejects what the enemy has changed which he is obeying, and goes back to submit to his father’s legislation. Is this not simple and very normal? Instead of we the saints doing this we prefer to go around philosophising, and joining the enemy to castigate those who are faithful to God’s word. 

👉Adam and Eve clearly heard God through the conviction of the Holy Spirit, because by then the Holy Spirit was indwelling them for communion with God, yet disobeyed. We know the consequences of their disobedience till date.

👉 I do not think it is us today that after conviction by the Holy Spirit, we wilfully chose to disobey that we will be tolerated in the name of grace in Jesus Christ. We can not even compare ourselves with those God tolerated in polygamy in the Old Testament because they didn’t have the grace of the Holy Spirit’s conviction to obey, as we have today through our Lord Jesus Christ.  So, God knowing this tolerated it. 

👉But He now  forbade it in the New Testament and can no longer tolerate it because we have the Holy Spirit to convict us to obey. Today He is raising instruments to remind His Saints on what prophet Daniel said, then the end will come. 

👉If the sun, moon, animals, birds, ants, insect, seas, and oceans etc, live by the norms God established in the beginning, then there is no reason why man should not, in the name of liberty and grace in Jesus. 

👉He can obey some demonic teachings unto death in the name of Jesus, but when it comes to obeying what God has ordained, liberty and grace in Jesus comes in. We are now exploiters of God rather than those seeking to please Him 

👉So briefing the  conclusion from all what we have seen the Anti-christ  Roman system began  the 3-1/2years period of Changing God's Times and Laws during the Roman Empire by the Roman Emperor-Constantin the founder of Roman Catholicism 👉Who is the ANTI-CHRIST?
