“ In the case of a WILL it is necessary to prove that the person who made the WILL has died, for a WILL means nothing while the person who made it is alive; it comes into effect ,only after his DEATH” Hebrew 9:16.

Brethren, when a man is alive and makes his WILL, when does that WILL becomes effective? Certainly only when that one dies! Therefore unless he dies, his WILL can never come into effect. Brethren, there are many unsaved people out there claiming a false salvation by grace in Jesus without baptism.

Let us pray that our brethren who have believe in the Lord Jesus as their Lord and savoir through repentance from their sins, but still blocked at the level of baptism(water immersion) should be convicted by the Holy Spirit, and arise and get baptized as soon as possible.

Brethren, the bible says:

“ In the case of a WILL it is necessary to prove that the person who made the WILL has died, for a WILL means nothing while the person who made it is alive; it comes into effect ,only after his DEATH” Hebrew 9:16.

This is the reason why the scripture went further to emphasize saying :

“ By our baptism, then we were buried with him and shared his death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from death by the glorious power of the father, so also we might live a new life Roman6:4.

Therefore, without the first step of dying and been buried with Christ through water baptism after repentance, it is practically impossible to live a new live in Christ. And If you can’t live a new life in Christ, how then can you call yourself a new creation in Christ ready for eternity? Most of those who say they have believed in Christ but not baptized, will be very honest to testify their unproductive efforts to live a modified live.

They just struggle with some morality , but always finding themselves consciously falling into sin, and practicing it. They will struggle to pray, fast, give money to God, do this and that, but never find things working. The word of God can never be broken! You can’t corrupt the conscience of God.

Infact it is written clearly: Repent, be baptized for the forgiveness of your sins, then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit(Act 2:38). There is no true follower of Christ in the bible, who believed and was not baptized. Therefore, if by your repentance you have taken a WILL before God to abandoned sins and never consciously practiced it, then you must prove your decision !

And the only way of proving this WILL for it to come into effect before God, is to DIE with Christ in water through baptism. Yes, this is because, it is only by this dying with Christ in water Baptism and resurrecting with him, that our WILL of repentance from sins to live a new life, comes into effect.

Therefore, our WILL of repentance and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ is NOTHING before God, until we take an engagement of clear conscience before Him, which is Baptism-meaning dying with Christ and resurrecting with him to live a new life that qualifies us for eternity.

It is only when we are yoked to the death of Christ through water Baptism, that we benefit from his death, and so be saved from death that sin brings. Because by the Law of God, the wages of sins is death, and there is the forgiveness of sins only when blood is spilled(Hebrew 9:22).

You benefit from the salvation blood of Christ, only by yoking yourself to his death, which is only done through water baptism. The spiritual significance of immersion(water baptism), is profound! Since Christ was to physically die in our place for the forgiveness of our sins, GOD TAKES WATER TO BE A GRAVE IN WHICH HE BURIES US IN, AS A SPIRITUAL SIGN OF OUR DEATH TO THE DEATH OF CHRIST FOR OUR SINS, SO THAT WE MAY BE RAISED BACK TO LIVE A NEW LIFE THROUGH THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

To illustrate this, the bible says:

-”..For in this way we shall do all that GOD REQUIRES”. So John agreed. As soon as Jesus was baptized, he CAME UP OUT OF THE WATER, then heaven was opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God coming down like a dove and alighting on him”. Matthew 3:14-17

-“ The official ordered the carriage to stop, and both Phillip and the official WENT DOWN INTO THE WATER, and Phillip baptized him. When they CAME UP OUT OF THE WATER,…..” Act 8:37-39.

Yes, our WILL of repentance must be justified by our baptism which means death! Thus baptism being as the bible puts it: “ Baptism which now saves you, is not the washing away of bodily death, but an engagement made to God from a GOOD CONSCIENCE “ 1st Peter 3:21.

Brethren we all know that everyone who says he has believe in Christ, and knows very well that the Lord says he who believes and is baptized will be saved, and is being trapped by the devil to philosophies it by quoting the thief on the cross as if he was the thief , will perish!

Only those who are in the circumstances of the thief on the cross, will benefit the grace of the thief on the cross, and not you who can be baptized, but deliberately refuses to do so. You are consciously disobeying God’s command to believe and be baptized.

You can’t say you had been baptized before believing. It is believe and be baptized and not baptized and believe: “ Go throughout the world and preach the gospel to all creation, he whosoever believes and is baptized will be saved . Mark 16:15).

You reading this note right now, who has been fighting over this issue of water baptism, this is God confirming his perfect will to you on this issue, for you to obey. Don’t delay any further before it becomes too late for you to do anything about it. Mark this day and this note as witnesses against you.

If sudden unexpected death meets you now in this conscious disobedience of God’s word, be sure to perish. What is sin? Sin is the conscious disobedience of God’s word.

Every word that comes out of God’s mouth to be obeyed is a binding law that if disobeyed, brings death. Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s word not to eat a fruit, and died. Yes, they disobeyed and ate what many of us will call today : ‘Just a common fruit’, but died! It is not you and me then to be spared, else God be an unjust God. Salvation by grace in Jesus is not a school of free lands philosophers, but a practical living principle of the word of God under the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

 1) Have you repented from your sins through believing in Christ as you personal Lord and savoir, but not baptized, because Satan is deceiving you with some philosophical reasoning of salvation by grace in Jesus?

Arise now and be baptized else your WILL of repentance cannot come into effect, therefore you are not saved.

2) Are you saying you were ‘baptized’ as a baby , so need no more to be baptized because the bible says there is only one baptism? But an unconscious child, has no will, and so makes no WILL.

A child is still unconscious and so doesn’t listen to the gospel of repentance from sins being preached, to repent and take an engagement through water baptism in dying with Christ to resurrect with him, and live a newness of life.

Yes, there is only one baptism, and it’s the right biblical baptism. So if as a grown up, you have consciously known what sins are, and repented, then arise and be baptized.

3) Do you say, I was ceremonially baptized by some water sprinkling on the head as a grown up, while leaving in sins, and continue to live a sinful life but wants to modify your way of living? No, salvation by grace in Christ, is a transformation and not modification of life, by the holy Spirit.

Sincerely repent from your sins, right now and be baptized for the forgiveness of your sins, then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit for transformation.

You must be conformed to the right baptism :

While Apollos was traveling in Corinth, Paul traveled through the interior of the province and arrived in Ephesus. There he found some disciples and asked them,“ Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you became believers? “We have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit”, they answered. Well, then, WHAT KIND OF BAPTISM DID YOU RECEIVED?, Paul asked. The baptism of John, they answered .

Paul said “ The baptism of John was for those who turned away from their sins; and he told the people of Israel to believe in the one who was coming after him-that is in Jesus. WHEN THEY HEARD THIS, THEY WERE BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS. Paul placed his hands on them, and the Holy Spirit came upon them; they spoke in strange tongues and also proclaimed God’s message. They were about twelve men in allAct 19:1-8.
